Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by Michael Van Wagenen for the World War II Homefront Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 12 Aug. 1992. Halvorsen talks about growing up in Springdale, Utah and her experiences at Zion National Park. She describes attending Utah State University during the 1940s and the impact of World War II on her life. She also tells her marriage and her life as a military wife.
